Sometimes it can be a struggle to eat well and keep fit. A good way to develop your own healthy and balanced routine is to look to other people for inspiration and I’ve found the perfect resource to help you- the ‘A Day In the Body‘ series by Suncana at Body Connection Obsessed.
Each week someone new offers an insight into their life, including how they make it easier to prepare healthy meals and find time keep active despite their busy life. I love this series because it looks at a diverse range of people, from personal trainers and nutritionists to students and a ‘frazzled mom’. (Although there are no men at the moment so if you’re a male reading this why not nominate yourself to take part).
In every post you’ll find something that resonates with you and something you could put into practice to improve your health and well being, diet or fitness plan.
Want to know my morning routine, when I exercise and how I handle my sweet tooth? Take a look at a day in my body.
To be honest I’ve talked about a pretty idealistic day. Sometimes I forget to meal prep and end up eating a random combination of vegetables and rice cakes for lunch, or end up staying at work later and don’t cook dinner until 7.30pm. Then there are the days when my exercise doesn’t go to plan. But regardless of all those factors I always make it a priority to
1) base my meals on fruit or vegetables and
2) stay active throughout the day.
How do you structure your day to keep yourself healthy and psyched?
