This recipe was inspired by some ‘utterly avocado’ icecream I had to cerebrate my first week living in Singapore. That was over 2 years ago and I don’t know why I’ve only just got round to making some now! Totally kicking myself for not doing it sooner. It’s delicious! (p.s. I live in England now).
In true Healthy & Psyched style I’ve healthified the avocado icecream to make it vegan and refined sugar free. Using frozen bananas helps to make it sweet, smooth and creamy and as an added bonus it’s ready to eat straight away.

Avocado Banana Icecream Recipe
- 2 frozen bananas
- 1/2 large avocado (1 small)
- 1/4 cup coconut water
- 1-2tsp coconut sugar (optional)
I didn’t use it but if you’ve got a sweet tooth feel free to experiment.
- 2 large strawberries
- 1 tbsp pomegranate arils
- 1 tbsp pecans
- Blend all of the ingredients together. As simple as that!
