Vegan Christmas Pudding Protein Balls

Get in the festive mood with these homemade Chocolate Christmas Pudding protein balls!

These energy balls are deliciously, sweet and gently spiced.  Plus I love the chewy texture when you eat them straight out of the fridge.

Aren’t they so cute! I’m so thrilled with how they turned out.  I think they would make a lovely gift – you could wrap them individually or put several in a little box and tie it with a ribbon.

Some notes on the ingredients:
1. I used vegan white chocolate from the supermarket because I thought it would go wrong if I tried to make my own. You can always try and make your on, or use cashew butter / white almond butter as the sauce.
2. Remember that you can adapt the spices to your taste. E.g. If you love ginger then add some more, but if you’re not such a fan then just add a sprinkle or leave it out altogether. It’s totally up to you.

A note on the texture:
You will need a high powered blender (e.g. Vitamix) to get a smooth texture. But if you have a food processor you can still enjoy the Christmas pudding flavours, just with a chunkier texture to the protein balls. If you don’t have a blender/ food processor at all you can make these no blender festive spice chocolate protein balls.

P.S. I called them ‘amaze-balls’ on my pinterest graphic because I think it sounds cute. My friend Laura from Turning Earth always calls them ‘amaze-balls’, but I usually stick with ‘protein balls’ or ‘energy balls’Incase you missed it in the text – you can get the recipe HERE.
